The White Hart

Now I know that this site is to be dedicated to everything great and good about London pubs, but I have recently come across a pub in Chipstead (which is right outside Purley in London) called The White Hart that is amazing.

It is the kind of place that has old cricket teams photos hanging on the walls, fireplaces in every room, and locals that come in on friday wearing wellies and bearing torches. It is a little bit of a country pub located very close to London. And totally worth the journey out, unfortunately that must be taken in a car as the public transport to it is rubbish.
But even if you are the designated driver and not partaking in a pint then you can enjoy the extraordinary food, I recommend the pork and apple pie myself!
All in all, I give this pub a 10 out of 10, friendly staff, great ale, excellent food, cozy atmosphere, and most importantly, a freehouse!
